Very spacious and clean inside. The service was very attentive, professional, and friendly. The salad bar had a good amount of varieties (including charcuterie options, fruits , salads) and they had a soup section as well (clam chowder, spicy corn soup). The meats were not as salty as some other Brazilian places. Besides variety of beef selections, they also have chicken hearts, pork belly, salmon, lamb and grilled halloumi cheese with honey.

More types of steak than a Fogo de ciao. They also have salmon buts it's pretty basic salmon. Limited salad bar. Great service though.

The food was delicious. But the pricing is a little bit high. They should have where you're able to get two meats and three sides for $35.99. And the side senses, rice, beans, etc. you should be able to get an unlimited amount because rice, beans, etc. is cheap.

Sopped in for a couple of glasses of wine and an appetizer to hold me until dinner. I order the picanha appetizer which was three thick cuts of sirloin that arrived hanging from a skewer. With a really delicious chimachuri (sp?) to pour on it. The appetizer came with two appetizers. One was 3 potato croquettes and three, what looked like muffins. Also very delicious. The place is clean and inviting and the staff were all friendly. I am looking forward to going back soon.

My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at Alma Gaucha and they made his birthday very special! We were there for weekend lunch on a Saturday at noon and it wasn't very busy but it did get a lot busier closer to 1:30 pm. Service was outstanding - everyone was helpful, friendly, and attentive but we never felt like anyone was hovering over us. The salad bar was fresh and included so many options of fruit, salads, cold cuts, cheeses, etc. There was also a hot bar with breads, sides, and soups. The meat came out non-stop and there was a huge assortment with different cuts of lamb, chicken, steak. The garlic steak and lamb lollipops were amazing! We will definitely go back!

OMG! If you haven't tried this Spot.? It's a must. Thanks Phantom Gourmet/Dan and Dave Alderman. We were a Party of 12 on 3/9/24. The Staff was so Accommodating. The Hot Bar just to name a few items Soups, Rice & Peas was great. As well as the Cold Bar just name a few Salads, Fruits. Both were a great start;however when the meats arrived was the highlight of the meal. Lamb, beef, pork, chicken, sausages. I only have one pic to share. The Mango Cheesecake. I could eat this 3/times a week. Thanks Alma Gaucha. Looking forward to returning. Thanks L & K for treating us ya'll Rock

I heard about this place after my friends came here and saying it is a brazilian steakhouse. All i know was fogo de chao so i thought i come try it! I didn't realize this was right across the street from lawn on D. Parking is street parking but i was able to find parking on a Saturday Night. The interior was fancy but not too fancy. There were dark black and red tones and the main area seating was a bit small, but it stretches out to more seating in the back. I would say the tables are not right next to each other but are closer. I haven't had a problem moving around to get to the sides table, but i did have to make loops just to avoid asking people to move in. There were a ton of sides with my favorite being the two different types of smoked salmon. I tried not to get full on the sides but everything looked amazing. My go to sides are smoked salmon, pasta salad, tomatoes, and potato salad. For the meats, I will say i feel like since we were in the corner and next to a large party, we did have to flag some people down that were carrying the meats cuz they would miss our table. All the meats were cooked nicely, however i would say it is really salty. I did drink a lot of water and that filled me up pretty fast. Overall though the service was great, they filled out waters up and even brought us plates in the beginning without us asking. I would definitely come here again on a special occasion since it is a little pricey.

The service here is great! They come by with more food than you can eat. It's very nice and spacious inside. It also happens to be right across from the Lawn on D. I came with a friend during the Best of Boston and we had a great time. We definitely ate much more than we had planned. All of the meat we had was really good. I'd say the salmon isn't the best; it was a little dry. I did like that they had an extensive salad bar. All of the different bbq-ed beef dishes were great! I definitely look forward to returning.

I've been to Fogo de Chao so many times for special occasions when I wanted good meats and salad bars, but coming to Alma Gaucha changed the game! My boyfriend is Brazilian and he took me here because it was more "authentic" in his opinion and I would agree that it is better. The meats were seasoned just right (Fogo is on the saltier side) and the employees there were primarily Brazilian. The waiters were very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. I would recommend coming here for a special night because of the nice lighting and the place is well decorated to feel not TOO fancy and still classy for a nice night out. The fudge cake was SOOO good (huge sweet tooth) I was super full from the meats but this went in so easily.
